For some weird reason sport clubs in Serbia still haven’t recognized the representation value that mascots bring to sport brands. In my opinion this is due to the very serious and traditional attitude that Serbian people have towards sports. So i decided to make a mascot for Partizan Belgrade, one of the two greatest sport societies in Serbia. Partizan fans in general have always amazed me with the amount of passion and loyalty they show for their club. I’m a big Basketball fan, and even tho i cheer for Partizan’s arch rival Crvena Zvezda, i admire Partizan fans who are in my humble opinion the best Basketball fans in the world! While i was working on this logo i gave my best to reflect the values that Serbian fans demand. I wanted to keep some original motives and to create a cool but serious mascot. The result is the mascot of Nikoletina Bursac famous Yugoslav partisan hero from novels by Branko Copic. Nikoletina represent a typical strong, tough rugged man, for that, in my opinion he is a perfect to represent Partizan Belgrade fans.
